Back from Grand Chapter and it has been a whirlwind of activities since. Just going to quickly update you on things:
Member news:
Bob Porter PP had surgery last week and is now in recuperation mode… he could use get well cards- please send to home at 5 Donovan Dr. Nashua NH 03062
Shelley Gullett PGM, GSE as she goes through her cancer diagnoses could use some thinking of you cards and calls- please send to 32 Sioux Ave Nashua NH 03063
Brian Smith PGP was one member who came down with Covid 5 days after Grand Chapter. He is fatigued and has a typical head cold, but otherwise ok. I am negative and staying as far away from him as possible- which he does not like.

Grand Chapter news:
Our Sisters Nancy Brooks PM (Grand Esther) and Jean Bean PM (Grand Electa) did an absolutely fabulous job as Grand Starpoint Officers this year- they did a beautiful job with the special Ribbon Ceremony (instructions and narration led by Sr Lisa Hollis PM). Sr Shelley (Grand Secretary) and Br Steve (Grand Treasurer) were also fantastic in their positions.
The big news of Grand Chapter is that our member Shelley Gullett, PGM, was voted in as Grand Secretary Emeritus for her 10 years of service to Grad Chapter! Congrats to her are in order!
At last count we had 31 members of Pilgrim Chapter in attendance for at least 1 session. And many of our members had key roles as either Pages, Hall committee, Officers, Registration, Participants in various speeches and or committees, and of course our Photographer! We are so very PROUD of our members who serve without recompense of reward.
We were delighted to have 4 Grand Officers for the ensuing year- Sr Joan Smith as Gr Secretary, Br Steve Bahsler as Gr Treasurer, Sr Lisa Hollis as Gr Trustee, and soon to be installed Sr Casey Rainey as Gr Esther.
Update on activities:
The Grand Officer Reception is coming up on September 10th at 1pm at Horace Chase Lodge in Penacook. All are invited to come for a fun time!
Pilgrim Chapter is in need of Chairpersons for many suppers and luncheons this fall. Two events already occurring are:
Sept 17 at noontime- there will be a luncheon needing to be served for the District Lodge of Instruction. Sister Tatiana Fowler has taken on chair- but will need assistance for this large event. Contact Tatiana at tatiana.e.fowler@gmail.com if you can assist.
Sept 20th- we have a Scottish Rite supper – I believe we are still looking for a Chair and maybe 1 or 2 helpers on this supper- but Sr Lisa Britko has that information… contact Sr Lisa Britko at auntielisab@gmail.com if you can help and or are willing to help any of the upcoming suppers!!
Installation of Officers is coming up on Friday September 30th at 6:30pm. I am sure Sr Casey Rainey and Br Steve Bahsler would LOVE to see so many on the sidelines for this wonderful event!
The Unity Committee for Grand Lodge is having the Annual Unity Picnic on September 18th from 1-5pm at Wellington State Park in Bristol. Attached is the flyer. Cost is $5 pp and children 11 years and younger are free. Includes a very yummy meal and fun social time. All are invited.
Don’t forget we have our Annual meeting coming up in September 23rd at 7:30 pm! Hope to see many members there.
