Grand Chapter 2021: We were finally able to have a Grand Chapter session this year after missing last years session. At last count I believe we had a total of 43 Pilgrim Chapter members attending and participating in many facets of the event, from Grand Officers, Hall Co-chair, Photographer. Hosts at Banquets, Tributes at Memorials, Sound System coordinator and assts, Asst Gr Sentinels, Grand and Personal Grand Pages, Grand Representatives, assisting with Flag Tributes, Responses, Tellers, Reports, Legislative session,  helping with Paraphernalia set up and take down, assisting with various raffle and information tables, and supplying a wonderful Collation for Friday night. Most importantly I would personally like to thank the Chapter for their support over these past few years: it was not all what was expected but I do hope and pray that I served you all well.

In Honor and Remembrance – the 20th Anniversary of 9/11

The Day the Nation Changed

It was the day the nation changed.

New York’s horizon blurred by smoky ash.

Washington’s heart backstabbed, with no repair.

Helplessly, we stood and watched and stared thinking of the ways we could have changed the past.

It was the day the nation changed.

A city wrought with fear, but not consumed

by these horrific acts of faceless names.

“We will search endlessly for one to blame and stand weeping, but not to fall or fume.”

It was the day the nation changed.

Our spirits flying high and soaring fast through many colors bright and flags unfurled.

We may stand weeping, before all the world but never faithless, holding to the last.

It was the day the nation changed.

A patriotic hue of white, so free.

The red, in memory of those we’ve lost through mourning, and to count such a heavy cost,

so with blue, silent prayers for victory. 911.

The day the nation changed. God bless this country, home of the brave.

From the East: Brother Sam and I would like to thank Pilgrim Chapter for allowing us the honor of serving as your Worthy Patron and Worthy Matron.  While these have been “interesting” times, we very much appreciate all of the support from our Sisters and Brothers in Zoom meetings and finally in-person meetings, messages through Facebook and email, calls and cards. Our hearts are full with the love for the devotion you give to our Order.  As always, Brother Sam and I wish each and every one of you health and happiness, and if anyone of you needs assistance, you have but only to ask. Sister Tatiana and Brother John, we wish you and your officers a wonderful term, full of fun and excitement.  We can’t wait to be a part of the festivities! In Star Shamrocks, Love, and Hugs,
