You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Lady officers may wear colored gowns. This is our annual meeting.

Collation: Under the direction of Sister Jennifer H. Bean, Associate Matron, assisted by Sister Judy A. Porter and Brother Robert M. Porter Jr. PP.

Sickness and Distress: Get well wishes to Sisters Cynthia D. Covey, Nancy E. Brooks, PM, Phyllis A. Lackie, PM, Susan J. Whitney, PM, and Brother Henry L. Brown, PP, who all had recent surgeries or hospital stays and are now recuperating.

Installation: You are cordially invited to the Pilgrim Installation of Officers on Saturday October 7, 2017 at 2pm for WM-Elect: Jennifer H. Bean and WP-Elect: Robert S. Bean, III, PP. Light Refreshments to follow. There will be three rehearsals for the new corps of officers:
10/6: Set up for Installation, 6pm
10/7: Rehearsal for Installation at noon
10/15: Rehearsal, following the Pledge Breakfast, starting at 11am
11/19: Rehearsal, 6pm-8pm

Congratulations: Welcome to Sister Jaime Gollob who was initiated at our special August meeting; Congrats to Sister Julie I. Marciello on the birth of twin Grandchildren, Nathan and Shayla Moulton, born to Alexis and Kyle on July 19; Congrats to our newly installed Grand Officers in OES: Sister Shelley M. Gullett PGM, Grand Secretary, Brother Stephen K. Bahsler, Grand Treasurer, Sister Joan L. Smith, Grand Conductress, and Sister Lisa K. Hollis, Deputy Grand Marshal were installed for the 2017-18 Grand year. Congrats to C. Wayne and Sandra M. Libby on their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Sept 9.

Sympathy: To Sister Phyllis A. Lackie PM on the loss of her Brother. The family of Richard I. Poole, Sr., PGP, thanked members who left messages of Sympathy and they invite all to a Memorial Service to be done by OES and Masons which will be held November 9th at 7pm in the Nashua Masonic Temple.

Finance Committee Report– Recommendation of Dues: After careful consideration, the Finance Committee reported that the Dues structure for 2018 should remain the same. Our current dues /fees structure is as follows:
Pilgrim Chapter Dues: $30.00
Grand Chapter Per Capita fee: $7.00
Nashua Building Assessment fee:$10.00
Total for dues/fees for 2018: $47.00

Cost of Petitioner for membership: $35; fee for Affiliation $10. This recommendation will be discussed and voted on at out September meeting.

A reminder that 2017 Dues ($47) were due at the beginning of this year and we have several who still have not paid, and some now owing over two years. Reminder- names of those owing for over two years will be read for 90-day notice for possible suspension in September. Please contact your Secretary with a payment plan if needed.

Grand Chapter: Grand Chapter of NH was held this past month and several pieces of legislation were presented and voted upon. Several of our members participated in the event: Jennifer A. Brooks, Aimee K. Busby, Stacy M. Desrosiers, Phyllis A. Lackie, Lois A. Taylor, Pamela G. Williams – all Personal Grand Pages or Escorts; Jeffrey L. Brown- Asst. Grand Sentinel; B. Judith Fenner- Parliamentarian; Brian J. Smith PGP, and Jeffrey L. Brown PGP- Jurisprudence; Lisa K. Hollis- did the Program Book, and assisted with Distinguished Guest Introductions; Lisa J.M. Proulx- Teller; Brian J. Smith, PGP, and Tracey L. Thompson- Sound system; Tony F. Zanichkowsky- Photography; Stacy M. Desrosiers brought greetings as host chapter and on behalf of the WM/WP and hosted the Distinguished Guests Luncheon; Jeffrey L. Brown PGP and Larry D. Gullett PGP both did a call to Order; Kimberly N. Maier and Lois A. Taylor presented the Rainbow and DeMolay Flags; Ronald E. Carbary assisted with the Masonic March; Lisa F. Britko, Linda D. Riggs, and Ally Britko assisted with the tribute for Wayne A. Bartlett PGP. Several members gave reports during the weekend. On Saturday evening Sister Shelley M. Gullett PGM, Grand Secretary, Brother Stephen K. Bahsler, Grand Treasurer, Sister Joan L. Smith, Grand Conductress, and Sister Lisa K. Hollis, Deputy Grand Marshal were installed for the 2017-18 Grand year.

Suppers: Supper season has begun! We have a supper (for about 35 men) on Sept 13 and a Luncheon (for 100 men) on Sept. 23- contact Sister Lisa F. Britko PM (auntielisab@gmail.com) or Shelley M. Gullett PGM (smg55oes@comcast.net ) if you can assist with these or any suppers!

Fisher Cats Baseball Fundraiser: If you purchased tickets for the Fisher Cats fundraiser for Saturday August 5 which was rained out, your tickets will still be honored by the Ball Park for this season. Contact the Ball Park for more information.
What happened at the last meeting: At our special August meeting meeting we initiated one new member.

Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G.:
The Rainbow Girls are actively looking for new members, as well as Majority members and Eastern Star members which they can emulate. If you wish to help out, please feel free to stop in a meeting sometime. They are always looking for new members. If you know of a girl age 11-20 years old who could benefit from the lessons taught therein, please call Sister Lois Taylor, Mother Advisor, at 603-377-6877. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month (excluding July and August) at 7:00 pm.

Rainbow Pledge Group:
The pledge girls are actively looking for new members! Please call Sister Tatiana Fowler at 603-809-8357 if you know of a girl between 6 & 11 years old who would like to join. Our Sparkles- a group for girls age 4-6 years old- also meet at that time.
