Friday, December 17, 2021 at 7:30 pm: Regular Stated Meeting- Holiday celebration
We know that there are still If you are uncomfortable joining us at this time, we all understand, please know that your health and welfare, and comfort level are most important! We will have a Zoom link for the business section of these meetings for those persons unable to attend in person which can be gotten from the Secretary, Joan Smith, PGM, by emailing her at JLSPMA@aol.com. Please contact her ahead of the time of the meeting for the link.
Collation –Cheerful Companionship and Social Enjoyment (under the direction of Sister Casey L Rainey, P.M., A.M., assisted by Sister Judy A. Porter and Brother Robert M. Porter Jr. P.P.) will be held after the meeting.
Rehearsals: Upcoming Rehearsals for the new term are as follows: Inst. Rehearsal November 12th 6-8pm, December 10th 6-8pm. Our Visitation is coming up January 2022 so its time to get ready!
Suppers: We have several supper dates coming up: Oct 18, Oct 25, Oct 26, Nov 1, Nov 14, Nov 16. Contact Sister Shelley Gullett if you can assist (smg55oes@comcast.net)
Thinking of You: Well wishes continue to go out to Sister Toni J Freeman PM as she recuperates now at home, to Sister Susan J Whitney PM after a recent hospital stay (back home now), and to Brother Brian J Smith PGP as he recuperates from his total knee replacement.
Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Sister Heidi R Roy after the recent loss of her sister to cancer.
Update on 100th Activities! Save the date for October 16, 2022 for our Gala Celebration! It will be held at the Alpine Grove. More information will follow as the date comes closer.
Now that the Pandemic is waning, we are starting to get back on schedule with the myriad of activities we had planned in 2019-2020 before things got shut down. Please watch for more special programs during and after meetings highlighting happening of out 100 years and watch for new dates on the following special programs: The Old Fashioned Degree, Pilgrim Famous Fashion Show, Pilgrims Pink Ladies degree, Our Murder Mystery dinner theatre
On-line Baby photo fundraiser:
A fun way to raise money as we Celebrate the birth of our Chapter- by submitting your baby photo and having members guess who’s who! Send your pictures and fee to Judy Trest, PM ( JThrest@twc.com) – or visit the Pilgrim website (www.pilgrimchapter-oes.org )
Send photos in by May 15th. Guessing starts May 31st. We will be finishing this project soon!
100 for the 100th
Our 100th Anniversary celebration of the start of Pilgrim Chapter has just begun. As we prepare to have our final celebratory party of our Chartering we invite interested members to contribute to the One Hundred Dollar Club for the 100th Anniversary. If you contribute (or have contributed thus far) a straight monetary donation of $100 toward the Anniversary fund, your name will go on a plaque commemorating your donation. Those interested please send your check payable to Pilgrim Chapter #55, to Sister Joan Smith, PGM, Secy, 16 Cliff Rd. Nashua, NH 03062 by the deadline of October 28, 2021 our official Chartering date.

Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00 pm. OES and Masonic members are encouraged to attend ALL events. Masks are required as we meet under COVID guidelines. Greetings! We extend our sincerest thanks to all the members of Pilgrim Chapter for electing us to be your Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron this year. The faith and trust you have placed in us is humbling and we will endeavor each day by our actions to be worthy of the honor you have bestowed upon us. Through many bumps and sudden changes, we finally had our installation, and it was all we dreamed it could be. We are looking forward to a fun and prosperous year together and are ready to get started by ending 2021 off right- through a celebration of all Pilgrim is to us. We are celebrating 100 Years of Pilgrim Chapter and have exciting plans all year long, so we look forward to seeing all of you at our meetings and other special events. Please join us at our very first meeting in the East in October, our Men’s Night in November, and our December Holiday Celebration honoring that which our Chapter embodies every day-family. Wishing you all a warm and cozy holiday season.
