What happened at the last meeting: At our September meeting we had our annual reports and elections. We voted to increase our dues by $2.00 since the per capita has now increased to $7.00 at vote at Grand Chapter 2016, due to increase at General Grand Chapter. Our dues structure includes the per capita payment required by Grand Chapter, and our require Masonic Building Assessment, as follows:

Previous Current
Dues- $30 Dues- $30
Per Capita- $5 Per Capita- $7
Assessment- $10 Assessment- $10
Total dues charged/ year- $45 Total dues charged /year- $47

As per our vote in chapter those who are 50 year members since 2010 are remitted for dues and assessment however will pay per capita only (now $7.00) ; those who are 50 year + members before 2010 are remitted for dues/per capita/ and assessment.
Petition fee remains at $35 and Affiliation fee remains at $10.

Grand Chapter Raffle Fundraiser: This year, Grand Chapter will be hosting a state wide raffle fundraiser in businesses throughout the state.  As a chapter, we are requested to find 5 businesses who would be willing to showcase a raffle item (i.e. gift card for their establishment) where patrons can purchase a chance for $5.  At the end of the raffle time period, all proceeds from the raffle will go toward our state charity, the NH Food Bank.  What a great way to show our work in the community and fundraise for a great charity and if each chapter has 5 businesses participating that each raise $100 each, we could make $10,000!  Wow!  Full details on this great project  are available from Sister Stacy Desrosiers, WM.

We would like to thank you for all your thoughts and words of encouragement as we assume the East this term!  We look forward to continuing our works of service in the community mixed in with lots of fun and social enjoyment with our sisters and brothers.  As always, if you need a ride to a meeting or any event, please let us know and we will be happy to arrange that for you!  We look forward to seeing all of you this year!
Just a few of the service / fun projects planned for the next few months:
October, we will be taking up a collection to support Operation Warm which provides warm coats to children in need this winter. This will be our second year supporting this excellent organization!

November, we will be wrapping gifts for a special family through the White Dove program all while being entertained by our Masonic Brothers!

December, we will be hosting a cookie swap following the meeting…bring a dozen or two of your favorite cookie and swap them with other members just in time to greet Santa!!!
