A message from the Secretary:
Our mailing count has fallen well below the amount required for bulk mail permits. At present, with the ability to email the bulletin to some members, while mailing with a first class stamp to those without email, it could be less expensive than doing the mailing by bulk mail. As a cost savings for the Chapter, I would like to email as many bulletins as possible. To assist the Chapter with this cost savings effort, I would like as many members as possible to send me their email address, and communication with me if you have a change of email address or if you are not receiving emailed bulletin. As of January 2016, I will still continue to send the bulletin by first class stamp to those who do not have email capability. Thank you in advance for this assistance.

From the East:

Thank you to Pilgrim Chapter for the honor and privilege of being your Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron in 2014/2015!

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came,—
The Ashes, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The sunshine spread a carpet,
And every thing was grand;
Miss Weather led the dancing;
Professor Wind, the band….
The sight was like a rainbow
New-fallen from the sky….
~George Cooper, “October’s Party”

To the 2015/2016 Chapter Officers, Brother John and I are quite excited and honored that each of you agreed to be officers and represent Pilgrim Chapter. We would like to have a rehearsal for both the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 Chapter Officers to go over retiring and installation on Sunday October 18, 2015 at 2:00pm. After rehearsal, we will have a pot luck supper, please RSVP to Shelley Gullett if you are able to attend.

Our theme this year will be “Giving it Back to Nashua”, so please stay tuned for service opportunities that will benefit our wonderful city of Nashua.
