Dear Sisters and Brothers:

You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting, and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Lady Officers may wear colored gowns.

This evening we will be celebrating the unofficial start to summer and honoring those who have served our country. Please join your Sisters and Brothers at events throughout the weekend including placing flags on the graves of Veterans (at Edgewood Cemetary) and marching with us in the Nashua Memorial Day Parade.

Sickness and Distress: Get well wishes to Sister Joyce C. Brown, P.M., and Brother Henry L Brown, PP, to Sister Joann Vickery Lister who has been having treatments for Back, knees, and hip. To Sister Cynthia D Covey, who continues to rehab her knee pain at home.

Dues:
Dues ($47) were due at the beginning of this year and we have several who still have not paid, and some now owing over two years. This mailing envelope will be stamped “Dues overdue” if you still own for your dues. Please pay as soon as possible to help the Chapter meet its expenses. Contact your secretary for a ‘payment plan option’ to pay a little bit at a time to get ‘caught up’. Reminder- names of those owing for over two years will be read for 90 day notice for possible suspension in September.

Grand Chapter:
The WGM and WGP are looking for people willing to be Grand Pages and Assistant Grand Sentinels at the Grand Chapter event on August 18 and 19 at the Nashua Marriott. If you would like to help in any way please contact your secretary for further information. Also, your secretary has the registration forms and trifold for Grand Chapter, plus a copy of legislation which will be presented and voted upon at the Saturday morning session. Please let the secretary know if you would like that information.

What happened at the last meeting:
At our April meeting we honored our Longevity members and our Grand Representatives. We voted to support the DeMolay with a program ad for Conclave. Heard from the membership committee regarding new calling cards which we can use when meeting potential members. Please see a member of the membership committee or our Chapter Secretary to receive cards.


DeMolay Ad Booklet:

Now is the time to get your name in the DeMolay Program Ad booklet given out at Conclave sessions. If you wish to have your name listed for just $1.00 contact your Secretary NO LATER than July 1st.

NH Grand Chapter State Wide Raffle:
The Grand Chapter is re-launching the Statewide Raffle project from now until August 1st. Please contact your WM if you know of a business who would like to participate. We will need to finalize the businesses by our May meeting so the program can be properly announced throughout the Nashua area. If you have questions on the program, please contact the WM.

Nashua Masonic Temple Directory:
Pilgrim Chapter is sponsoring the 2017 Nashua Masonic Temple Directory. Anyone interested in purchasing an advertisement, please contact Lisa JM Proulx, PM at lisajproulx@gmail.com . Individual copies of the directory will be available for a cost of $3.00 each later this Spring.

Suppers:
We have one more supper left for the spring season. Thank you to all who participated in any way at the recent suppers. A huge thank you to Sisters Shelley, Lisa, and Brother Larry who have been chief cooks and chairpersons of these supper. We are always looking for members to work and particularly chair (ie Cook) at these suppers. When the Fall season suppers start up we would love to have people share the load of cooking and chairing these suppers. Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G.:
The Rainbow Girls are actively looking for new members, as well as Majority members and Eastern Star members which they can emulate. If you wish to help out, please feel free to stop in a meeting sometime. They are always looking for new members. If you know of a girl age 11-20 years old who could benefit from the lessons taught therein, please call Sister Lois Taylor, Mother Advisor, at 603-377-6877. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month (excluding July and August) at 7:00 pm.
Please join the Rainbow Girls at their Installation of Officers on Friday, June 9th at 7pm.

Rainbow Pledge Group:
The pledge girls are actively looking for new members! Please call Sister Tatiana Fowler at 603-809-8357 if you know of a girl between 6 & 11 years old who would like to join. Our Sparkles- a group for girls age 4-6 years old- also meet at that time. The Pledge girls will be holding a “Father / Daughter Dance” on June 10th. We encourage “Dads” And “Daughters” of all ages to come out to this fun evening!
