At Our Last Meeting

Members of DeMolay International performed the Flower Talk, and the Officers performed a Patriotic honor program for our US Veterans. We had updates from our Chapter Committees. We draped the altar in loving memory of Sister Frances Pollock. We had delightful time with visitors from Minnesota and Virginia. Sister Pamela G Williams, PM, gave her Board of Trustees report – our portion of the building rent will be increased.

Fundraising Opportunities!
To help the Chapter reach our goals, please come and assist in these fundraising endeavors! If you would like to volunteer on our Ways + Means Committee, please contact your WM or Secretary. If you have any fundraiser ideas, please let the Chapter know.
•—Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre: Thank you to the Officers, Members and family of our cast who participated in this years production! The funds donated to the Making Strides campaign will be announced at our September meeting.
•—Margarita’s Night: We had a total of 30 members, family and friends join us for our fundraiser night and we raised over $100 for the Chapter General Fund.
•—Bag 31 Fundraiser. Please see the enclosed flyer and contact Sister Gail F Brown, PM through June 28. Share with family and friends- this is a great fundraiser for Pilgrim Chapter. Please contact Sister Gail F Brown, PM at gail.brown31@gmail.com or 603-320-7010 if you have any questions.
•—Our Pilgrim Yard Sale: Scheduled for June 16 at Sister Shelley Gullett’s home at 32 Sioux Ave, Nashua, NH 03063 from 8am-2pm. If you would like to volunteer, or have items to donate, please contact your Secretary or Worthy Matron.
•—Eastern Star Breakfast: The next Breakfast will be held on June 16 from 7:30am to 10:00am. Everyone is invited and all proceeds will go to the Chapter General Fund. The Pledges are taking a break from breakfasts and will return in September.
•—Cribbage/Game Night is scheduled for Friday, August 9. More details to come!

Special Notices
Dues and Assessment: Some members still have not paid their dues for 2011 + 2012. The amount of Membership unpaid dues totals $1,000.00. Please check to see if you have your dues card in your wallet, and if not, send the fee into the Secretary as soon as possible. Please help the Chapter by paying in a timely manner.

Celebrations, Sickness and Sympathy
Congratulations to Sister Janet L. Thompson, PM, who was installed as the Deputy Grand Marshal Massachusetts Grand Chapter; to Sister Mary Ellen Brown who was recently wed; to Brother Henry Brown, PP, who carried the NH State Flag at the recent Minnesota Grand Chapter sessions; and to Sister Jennifer Taylor-Arnold who was announced as Grand Adah for 2013-2014 Grand Chapter. Get Well Wishes go to Sister Joyce Brown who has been in and out of the hospital with kidney stone issues; Sister Jo Drown is at Greenbriar Terrace for Rehab services.

Chapter Happenings

Looking for Artists: There is an Art Contest going on for new ‘cover art’ for the NH Proceedings. If anyone is interested in submitting art please contact Sister Tracey L .Thompson for more information at tthompson511@yahoo.com

The officers and members marched in the May 27th Memorial Day parade with the Nashua Rainbow Girls , Pledges and Sparkle Girls and Nashua Masonic Brothers. Many of our members joined with the Rainbow and Pledge Group placing flags at the graves of our veterans buried in Edgewood Cemetary.
