Happy New Year! You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, January 27, 20112
at 7:30 pm, for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting,
and transacting any business that may legally come before the
Chapter. Sister Officers may wear colored gowns.“Honoring the Star Points” is our theme this month; a short tribute will be paid to our sisters
who represent or have represented the heroines of our order.

What happened at our recent meeting At our December meeting we donated mittens, hats,

scarves, and coats that will be delivered to the Tolles Street
Mission. Thank you to everyone who helped to make those in need
a bit warmer this winter season. After the meeting we enjoyed
an extended time of fine food and conversation. Thank You to
Sister Phyllis A. Lackie, P.M., Sister Joan

L. Smith, P.M., Brother Brian J. Smith, P.G.P, A.P, and Brother
Larry D. Gullett, P.P, W.P., who did a fabulous job of cleaning
the kitchen on behalf of Pilgrim Chapter.

NH Grand Chapter OES Scholarships: If you, or a relative, are interested in applying
for the

Educational Scholarship, and wish to be sponsored through our
Chapter, you must send a letter to the

Chapter Secretary no later than the February 2012 meeting date.
All letters requesting consideration

for this Scholarship will be read and voted on at our February
meeting. Only one applicant can be chosen from each Chapter.
Please contact the Secretary if you have any questions.

Need Help Getting to a Meeting? If at any time you would like to come to a meeting
and are unable

to drive, or need help getting to and from the Nashua Temple,
please do not hesitate to contact the

Worthy Matron, Worthy Patron, or the Secretary and we will arrange
for transportation for you!

Dues and Assessment: Some members still have not paid their dues for
2011. Please check to see if you have your dues card in your
wallet, and if not, send the fee into the Secretary as soon as
possible. Dues notices for 2012 went out with the November bulletin.
Dues this year is $30.00 per person and $10.00 for Special Assessment
for Temple Repair Fund. Please help the Chapter by paying in
a timely manner.

Tabs for Shriners: The Nashua Rainbow Girls continue to collect can
tabs for the Shriners Hospitals as a service project and would
be more than happy to take any tabs collected off your hands.
Feel free to drop Tabs off at any meeting, or if you need a pick
up from your home feel free to contact Sister Joan L Smith P.M.
Secretary, for pick up of tabs from your home.

Meetings
are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00
pm. OES and Masonic members are encouraged to attend ALL events.
The next meetings are January 19 and February 2.

Sickness and Distress: Brother Richard J. Thompson, P.P. was recently
in the hospital for pneumonia and is recuperating at home; Get
Well wishes continue to go out to Sister Edith C. Holmes who
is currently in the Courville Rehab Center, and to Sister Beverly
F. Burleigh, P.M., who is at home. Sisters Hope E Mercer, Barbara
L Rollett, and Ellen D Winters were all visited recently and
our doing well. It was wonderful to hear at Christmas from Sisters
Sandra G. Dudley P.M., Irene Cowen, Valerie Sonner, and Brother
Frederick Duncan P.G.P . We have many Shut ins and Partial shut
ins on our list. During these cold winter months, when they do
not get out or have many visitors, they could use calls and visits.
Please check with the Sister Joan if you have not signed up to
visit some of our shut-ins

and wish to do so. She will be glad to give you more information.

Labels for Education for Children’s
Learning Center:
Sister Judy A. Porter continues to collect
the Soup and Box top ‘Labels for Education’ for the Childrens Learning Center (formerly 33 degree

Masonic Learning Center) in Nashua. These labels can be turned
in to get much needed supplies for the center. If you are in
a habit of collecting the labels please bring them to a meeting,
or send them to Sister Judy /or Brother Robert M Porter, Jr.
P.P. at the Masonic Temple office. Every little bit helps with
this worthy cause. For more information on this contact Sister

Program Advertisement Names for $1.00: It is that time of year that we look for those
names for the OES Ball Program and the NH Grand Assembly IORG
program booklets. If you wish to have your name listed under
the Chapter listing in these program booklets please contact
Sister Joan and send into the Chapter $1.00 for each program
you wish to have your name listed. Names will continue to be
collected until deadline for OES Ball on March 28, and NH Grand
Assembly May 15th.
