Dear Sisters and Brothers:

You are cordially invited to attend the
stated meeting on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 7:30 pm, for the
purpose of initiating, receiving petitions, balloting, and transacting
any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister
Officers may wear colored gowns.

Collation –
Under the direction of Sister Lisa K. Britko, P.M., A.M., assisted
by Sister Judy A. Porter and Brother Robert Porter.

Star Spotters “Black
and White” Charity Ball is coming up on April 2, 2011 at
the Margate in Laconia NH. Tickets are available through your
Worthy Patron, Bob Bean, at 603-770-6886 or rs.bean3@comcast.net
. For a meal cost of $45 per person you can have your choice
of delicious of Prime Rib of Beef Au Jus, Baked Haddock Maison,
Herb Stuffed Chicken, or the Vegetarian meal ‘Megans Mushrooms.
Room reservations can be made by contacting the hotel directly
at 1-800-MARGATE. There will be a social ‘game night’ on Friday
evening April 1st, with a pot luck or pizza meal available
for attendees. Be sure to join in the fun and fellowship at
this all important fundraiser for the WGM/WGP/Grand Marshal Charities.
Deadline for tickets is March 2nd .

Ball Ads /Rainbow Ads Campaign:

This year Eastern Star and Rainbow have agreed to combine their
efforts and their Ads for the ‘Black and White’ Ball and for
the Rainbow Grand Assembly programs. If you wish to have your
name listed under both the headings of Pilgrim Chapter and Nashua
#9 Rainbow at the bargain price of $1.00 per name, to show your
support for both Organizations, please contact your Secretary,
Joan Smith, at 603-888-0891 or JLSPMA@ aol.com and she will
be glad to add your name to the listings. Deadline for ad names
is March 1st.

NH Grand Chapter OES Scholarships: If you, or a relative, are interested in applying
for the Educational Scholarship, and wish to be sponsored through
our Chapter, you must send a letter to the Chapter Secretary
no later than the February 2011 meeting date. All letters requesting
consideration for this Scholarship will be read and voted on
at our February meeting. Only one applicant can be chosen from
each Chapter. Please contact the Secretary if you have any questions.

Pennies for the Pouches needed:

‘Coins for a Cause’ is a dalmation bank where we will be collecting
coins for Diabetes, Brother John W Jackson, WGP special charity
project; and we will also be collecting pennies for the Service
Dog Project for Sister Lorraine E Thompson GGCCM , PGM. Please
make sure you bring your spare pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters
to the next meeting to deposit into these two banks for worthy
causes.

Masonic Home- now Evergreen Place:

Evergreen Place is now actively looking for volunteers to help
out at the Manchester facility. They need people to assist as
greeters/receptionist in 4 hour shifts; people to assist in various
activities through the week; help with resident transportation;
and minor repair/reconstruction jobs around the facility. Please

Huggable and Mitten Tree collection:

Be sure to stock up on stuffed animals for the Huggables program,
and hats, scarves and mittens for the Mitten Tree program which
will be collected at our Official Visitation in June 2011.Any
donations will be greatly appreciated for these two worthy causes.

Sickness and Distress: Sister Beverly F Burleigh PM was recently in
the hospital but is home now and doing better. Brother Frederick
Duncan PGP will be having more surgery in February. Brother David
C Thompson Jr. will be having surgery in March. Sister Patricia
W Hills PGM had pneumonia just after the holidays but is doing
well now and in good spirits.

to Sister Priscilla B Hildebrand PM on birth of her new grandson,
to Brothers Kevin J Carter, and G Raymond Palmer who were recently
installed in Divan offices in the Bektash Shrine Installation,
to Brother Robert M Porter PP who was given a Grand Representative
appointment to Indiana and Sister Joyce E Brown PM who was given
a Grand Representative appointment to Maryland, and welcome to
our newest members Sisters Sally M Grigas, Alison Lynn Lyne,
and Brother Stephen K Bahsler who were initiated into our Chapter
at the January meeting.

Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G.:

Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month
at 7:00 pm. OES members are encouraged to attend any event. The
next meetings are February 17 and March 3. Nashua Rainbow Girls

Rainbow Pledge Group:

The pledge girls are actively looking for new members! Please
call Sisters Sharon M. Jackson, P.M., Pledge Mom at 603-598-2682
or Sister Stacy M. Desrosiers P.M. at 579-0519 if you know of
a girl between 6 & 11 years old who would like to join. Our
Sparkles- a group for girls age 4-6 years old- also meet at that
time. Please contact Sister Stacy about being an Eastern Star
Grandma to one of the Pledges. The next Pledge breakfast is
February 20, 2011, from 8:00-10:30 a.m.

The new edition of the 2011 Nashua Masonic Family Directory will
be available soon at a bargain price of $3.00. It will also be

Sister Lois A. Taylor is selling embroidered Polo Shirts with
the OES emblem and Pilgrim Chapter #55. The cost of these shirts
