Sister Officers may wear colored gowns. “Helping the Cold and Needy” is our theme this month; please bring mittens, hats, and/or scarves to be donated to those in need. Collation – Under the direction of Sister Lisa J. M. Proulx, P.M., A.M., assisted by Sister Judy A. Porter and Brother Robert M. Porter, November meeting, we welcomed Sister Linda D. Riggs as an affiliated member to our Chapter, and Brother John J. Shurman, II, W.P., P.P., Magdalene Chapter #28 OES, Maynard, MA, Grand Warder of MA, OES, and Sister Jean S. Hart, Conductress of Magdalene who brought bracelets that can be purchased for a donation that will benefit a scholarship in memory of Sister Heidi J. Schmelzer, P.M. After the meeting, the men of Pilgrim Chapter entertained us with their own rendition of Jeopardy, OES Style and all had a great time answering questions on History, Rules and Regulations, NH Then and Now, and other great trivia! Thank you to all who helped make the evening not only fun, but informative! Dues and Assessment: Some members still have not paid their dues for 2011. Please check to see if you have your dues card in your wallet, and if not, send the fee into the Secretary as soon as possible. Dues notices for 2012 went out with the November bulletin. Dues this year is $30.00 per person and $10.00 for Special Assessment for Temple Repair Fund. Please help the Chapter by paying in a timely manner. Need Help Getting to a Meeting? If at any time you would like to come to a meeting and are unable to drive, or need help getting to and from the Nashua Temple, please do not hesitate to contact the Worthy Matron, Worthy Patron, or the Secretary and we will arrange for transportation for you! Pennies for the Pooches Needed: We are still collecting pennies for the Service Dog Project for Sister Lorraine E. Thompson, GGCCM , P.G.M. Please make sure you bring your spare pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters to the next meeting to deposit into our doggy bank banks for this worthy cause. NH Grand Chapter OES Scholarships: If you, or a relative, are interested in applying for the Educational Scholarship, and wish to be sponsored through our Chapter, you must send a letter to the Chapter Secretary no later than the February 2012 meeting date. All letters requesting consideration for this Scholarship will be read and voted on at our February meeting. Only one applicant can be chosen from each Chapter. Please contact the Secretary if you have any questions. Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G. and Pledge & Sparkles: Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00 pm. OES and Masonic members are encouraged to attend ALL events. The next meetings are December 15 and January 5. Healey, P.M., who had recent surgery at Lakes Regional Health Center, to Brother C. Wayne Libby, Jr. who had recent surgery, to Sister Phyllis A. Lackie, who has been under the weather, and to Sister Beverly F. Burleigh, P.M., who is at home. They would all enjoy calls, cards or a visit.
