What’s Happening at Star!

We had a Town Hall meeting with the OES Membership Committee
and lots of great ideas were discussed on how to keep existing
members active and interested, as well as terrific ideas to increase
membership and make our Chapter viable. One request was for the
monthly bulletin to have a section to let members know what occurred
at the last meeting to keep everyone better informed. So here
is the first edition!

Besides a wonderful meeting with the Membership
Committee, Brother Bob Bean spoke about the CHIPS program and
some upcoming events we can assist with to render community service;
Sister Judy Fenner’s daughter is now Mother Advisor of Cape
Cod Assembly in MA, and the Chapter voted to donate the floral
collection to that Assembly’s service project to help the
people of La Paz, Bolivia after recent mudslides; Sister Judy
Porter and her mother donated a bag full of items for the Mitten
Tree; Sister Lisa Britko and Brother Larry Gullett will be planning
a visit to the residents at Evergreen Place soon; Sister Jenny
Taylor will be making a raffle basket for the Children’s
Learning Center fundraiser event in July; and Sister Phyllis
Lackie is helping to repair some of the Chapter jewels.

Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G. and Pledge / Sparkle Group: Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7pm. The Rainbow girls are always looking for new members! OES members are encouraged to attend any event.

The next meetings will be April 21 and
May 5. Please feel free to contact Mrs. Lisa F. Britko, MA, for
more information regarding any Rainbow events at (603) 566-5681
or auntielisab@gmail.com

For the Pledges and Sparkles, please call Sisters Sharon M. Jackson, P.M., Pledge Mom at (603) 5982682 or Sister Stacy M. Desrosiers P.M.
at (603) 5790519 if you know of a girl between 6-11 years old
(for Pledge) and 4-6 years old (for Sparkles) who would like
to join.
