Collation: Collation will be under the direction of Sister Lisa F. Britko, PM,, Associate Matron, assisted by the Sister Judy A Porter and Brother Robert M. Porter Jr, PP.
Rehearsals reminder: 12/13, 1/10, 2/14, 3/13, 4/10, 5/8, 6/12 – all will be at 6:30pm. Please watch the Facebook site and look for emails for more updates.
Service Work:
We have a few opportunities of Service work coming up to help the Community in general, or to help our local youth group:
Our Worthy Matron is collecting scarves for the warmth drive. There has been a donation of yarn for this project- if you knit or crochet. You can make them or buy them at the store already made. This is a great opportunity for all of our members participate and give back to our community even if you can’t make it to meetings. The Scarves will be donated around local town and city areas for the Homeless to use. Contact aimeebusby@gmail.com
Jen Pizzi is in charge of the collection of games and toys for Shriners Hospital and the Lap Quilt blankets for Shriners. These Quilts should be in the range of 40inch squared and they are looking themed ones for more for teens and older boys rather than baby and young girls. Contact her at teach1026@gmail.com
Nancy Brooks PM is having members willing to write notecards to children for Blessings in Backpack do so on cards which she can provide. Plus collecting new backpacks for children to use and coins to fill the lunch pail. $130 each year per child provides these nutritional meals for the food insecure children on weekends. Joan Smith WGM, Sup Inspector is looking for some talented ladies and gentlemen who can sew for an upcoming project of the next GWA in NH who hails from Nashua #9. We need help with sewing sashes and possibly with bags. If anyone is willing to assist with the work please contact supreme.nhiorg@gmail.com
We will be blessing a special family through a local church’s White Dove/Silver Dove program with some Christmas gifts this Holiday season. The list will be available November 24 and plans are in the works for a possible shopping spree some day after the meeting to purchase then wrap gifts- stay tunes and ask Brother Brian for more details at brijsmith@aol.com

At our last meeting: In October we installed our Associate Matron and Associate Conductress. We assigned mentors for new members and affiliates. We talked about setting up a budget meeting, assigned Jenn Bean PM to look further into new signage on streets, talked about the next Directory being the last one to be printed, and talked briefly about planning for the 100th Anniversary. We agreed to our March 2021 Visitation date. Sister Aimee spoke about the scarves program. Brother Brian gave an explanation regarding fire safety and preservation of our records. Sister Nancy gave an explanation about Blessings in a Backpack, the coin collection, and the cards to write. Sister Joan mentioned the toy and game collection for Shriners trip on Dec 7. Awesome Twosome ribbons were given out to Jess (and Stephen ) Stock.
Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G.: The Rainbow Girls are actively looking for new members, as well as Majority members and Eastern Star members which they can emulate. If you wish to help out, please feel free to stop in a meeting sometime. They are always looking for new members. If you know of a girl, age 11-20 years old, who could benefit from the lessons taught therein, please call Sister Lois Taylor, Mother Advisor, at 603-377-6877. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month (excluding July and August) at 7:00 pm.
Rainbow Pledge Group: The pledge girls are actively looking for new members! Please call Sister Jessica K Stock at 978-228-0059 if you know of a girl between 6 & 11 years old who would like to join. Our Sparkles- a group for girls age 4-6 years old- also meet at that time.

Sisters and Brothers, as we approach the season of Thanksgiving remember to not only give thanks for the blessings you have received in your life but to BE a blessing to those around you. Spread kindness to those you encounter, especially those who may not seem to deserve it, they may need it most of all. Give generously to those in need, whether with love, support or financially. In that spirit, we will be adopting a family through White Dove for the holidays. This is a program where we get a gift list and purchase for the family. It is a wonderful program that enables a family, otherwise unable, to have presents under the tree as well as that warm fuzzy feeling for ourselves. Let us spread the love of the Order to our community. List should be available at the November meeting for those wishing to participate.
