What happened at the last meeting: At our last meeting we voted on a donation to Jeffs Bike Ride for Cancer, and moved forward on our process of changing our Bank accounts so that we can initiate a Paypal account for dues processing. We decided to do a Basket for the Grand Chapter Raffle fundraiser. We set up a committee to revamp to present Line officer books. We voted to move forward on our annual Silver Knights Fundraiser on July 26. We assigned a chair to start discussions with the Lodges about possibly combining together to celebrate our mutual anniversary celebrations (our 100th, Rising Suns 200th, Ancient Yorks 150th all with a year) verses celebrating separately.

Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G.: The Rainbow Girls are actively looking for new members, as well as Majority members and Eastern Star members which they can emulate. If you wish to help out, please feel free to stop in a meeting sometime. They are always looking for new members. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month (excluding July and August) at 7:00 pm.

From the East:
Spring has arrived with the nice weather and longer days. I hope all are able to get out and about with the warmer weather here. All are invited to our meetings in May and June. As mentioned above, June we’ll be celebrating not just our longevity members but also our Past Matrons and Past Patrons. I encourage all to come out and if you need assistance with transportation or anything please let us know and we’ll be more than willing to assist. I am pleased that summer is arriving but it also means that there are only a few short months left of my term. Again I encourage all to come out to our meetings!

This month instead of bringing items for Anne-Marie House – their Family Director reached out about an opportunity that she is participating in called “Over the Edge” it’s a fundraising event on June 28-29 where Melissa will rappel down 24 floors to help raise money for Anne-Marie house. Please see the link https://app.mobilecause.com/vf/edge2018/MelissaJohnstone and if you are able to assist with their goal it would be greatly appreciated. I do plan on stopping by on the day of the event to cheer them on so again you are all invited to come out to the Brady Sullivan building on Elm St in Manchester in June to cheer on Melissa as she goes Over the Edge for charity!!
