Congratulations to Brother Kevin J. Carter, Worshipful
Master-Elect of Ancient York Lodge; Brother Robert M. Porter,
Jr., Worshipful Master-Elect for Rising Sun Lodge, and to all
our Brothers who will be going into new offices in their Lodges
this coming month.

Sickness and Distress: Sister Janet C. Fimbel suffered
a stroke and is currently in a Rehab facility; Sister Frances
M. Pollock had a fall recently but is on the mend; Please keep
Sisters Edna E.Dooley and Valerie L.Sonner in your prayers; Sister
Joann Vickery Lister is undergoing Cancer treatment; and Brothers
Frederick Duncan, P.G.P., and Norman J. Poisson are recovering
from recent surgeries.

Sympathy is extended to Sister Pamela G. Williams on the
loss of her mother Margaret; to Sister Janet Fimbel on loss of
her sister, our Sister Bette Gove; and to Sister Margaret A.
Clarke, Worthy Grand Esther, and to the entire General Grand
Chapter family, at the loss of her husband, Brother Frederick
W. Clarke, Most Worthy Grand Patron of the General Grand Chapter,
Order of the Eastern Star.

Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G.: Meetings are held on the
first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00 pm. OES members
are encouraged to attend any event. They will be having Installation
of Officers on January 8 at 10am. The next meetings are January
20 and February 3. Nashua Rainbow Girls are always looking for

Rainbow Pledge Group: The pledge girls are actively looking
for new members! Please call Sisters Sharon M. Jackson, P.M.,
Pledge Mom, at (603)598-2682 or Sister Stacy M. Desrosiers, P.M.,
at (603)579-0519 if you know of a girl between 6 & 11 years
old who would like to join. Our Sparkles – a group for girls
age 4-6 years old – also meet at that time. The next Pledge breakfast
is January 16, 2011, from 8:30-10:30 a.m.

NH Grand Chapter OES Scholarships: If you, or a relative, are interested in applying
for the Educational Scholarship, and wish to be sponsored through
our Chapter, you must send a letter to the Chaptaer Secretary
no later than the February 2011 meeting date. All letters requesting
consideration for this Scholarship will be read and voted on
at our February meeting. Only one applicant can be chosen from
each Chapter. Please contact the Secretary if you have any questions.

Masonic Home: Now Evergreen Place: Evergreen Place is
now actively looking for volunteers to help at the Manchester
facility. They need people to assist as greeters/receptionist
in 4-hour shifts; people to assist in various activities through
the week; help with resident transportation; and minor repair/reconstruction
jobs around the facility. Please contact Sister Joan L. Smith,
P.M., Volunteer Coordinator, Evergreen Place, for more information

Pennies for the Pooches: At our last meeting we were introduced
to two fundraisers: ‘Coins for a Cause’ is a Dalmatian
bank where we will be collecting coins for Diabetes, Brother
John W Jackson, W.G.P., special charity project; and we will
also be collecting pennies for the Service Dog Project for Sister
Lorraine E Thompson GGCCM , P.G.M. Please make sure you bring
your spare pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters to the next meeting
to deposit into these two banks for worthy causes.

Directory: The new edition of the 2011 Nashua Masonic
Family Directory will soon be available at bargain price of $3.00.
